ASAS Labor GmbH is working on the generation of reference compounds, which are not available commercially, especially in the area of extractables and leachables (E/L).
Based on extracts of pharmaceutical packaging materials or their corresponding raw materials, target compounds are isolated using semi-preparative HPLC. Degradation products are generated by electrochemical conversion.
ASAS is specialized in reactive (electrophilic) E/L’s, like halogenated rubber oligomers and degraded antioxidants (quinone methides).
